Interested in working at Big Trees Recreation Center? We are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. These are our current open positions.
Recreation Center Manager: The position of Summer Recreation Center Manager (SRCM) has been created to provide for the safe and efficient operation of Big Trees Village Recreation Center from late May to Labor Day. We are offering a competitive hourly rate plus either accommodation (for out-of-area candidates) or a mileage reimbursement (for local candidates). Learn more
Lifeguard: Must be at least 15 years old and have a valid Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. Ensure patron safety by enforcing all Association rules; instruct various levels of swim lessons; assist with other recreational water activities; open and close the pool and restroom facilities; and attend in-service staff development programs. We will reimburse the cost of lifeguard certification if a minimum of 10 lifeguard shifts are worked. Learn more
Snack Shack: Must be at least 14 years old and be willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler certification. Fulfill customer snack and BBQ orders; receive payment and make correct change; ensure sanitary workstations; restock, clean, and close snack shack; assist with inventory processing.
