Debris Burns and Warming Fires

Debris Burn Fires:  These fires are used to dispose of pine needles, leaves and other debris on lots.  These fires are highly regulated and may only be conducted during certain times of the year and require a Burn Permit.  Click here for more information on obtaining a Burn Permit.  For specific debris burn days, please call Air Quality Control at (209) 754-6600.

Warming fires:  These fires are for primarily entertainment purposes.  Property owners may only burn dry wood in this type of fire; no pine needles, leaves or other tree slash is to be burned.
